Abstract

This research aims to know students' responses to teaching and learning process through guided inquiry-based on learning by multi representations for second semester, students of class VIII-A at SMPN 1 Trawas.

This research used one pretest-postetest group design. The data were tested on 32 students and the teacher performed for five meetings on the subject of vibes, waves, and sounds. The results of student responses to the components of learning activities were collected using student response questionnaires. The percentage of student response scores is 97%.

Based on the results of data analysis, learning that is done is interesting for students and helps students to understand the material that has been learned. It can be concluded that students give a positive and very good response to teaching and learning process, thus increasing motivation to learn which has an impact on increasing learning outcomes.
