Abstract


This research aims to analyze about: Effect of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to increase Explosive Power; Speed ​​Improvement, Agility. The sample of this research is a basketball player with 30 people. The type of research used in this study is quantitative with quasi-experimental methods. The design in this study using Matching-Only Design, with data analysis using t test (paired t-test). The data retrieval process is done by explosive power test using Sargent Jump, Speed ​​test using 30 Meters Speed ​​Test, and Agility Run test using Illinois Agility Run Test at pre test and post test. Furthermore, the data of the research are analyzed by using SPSS 20.0. The results showed: (1) There is a significant influence of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Exercise on increasing Explosive Power; (2) There is a significant effect of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Exercise on Speed ​​Improvement; (3) There is a significant effect of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on increasing Agility. Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that there is an increase in explosive power, velocity, and agility of the experimental group after being given High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) training.
