Abstract

This study aims to describe the development process of GeoGebra-based MEAs in creating an effective learning set, and to describe the effectiveness of GeoGebra-based MEAs on linear programming topic. Result of the study showed that: validation score was 3 points for each item; teacher’s ability to manage learning activity got 3 points for each assessment item, the conformity between students activities and time allocation was effective; student's positive responses during the implementation of GeoGebra-based MEAs Learning improved into 75% for each item. In addition, students learning outcomes were valid with validity score 0.62; they were reliable with reliability score 0.6164; and the sensitivity score for each item was 0.48. Thus, it can be concluded that GeoGebra-based MEAs Learning was effective. It could be concluded that GeoGebra-based MEAs Learning to teach linear programming was effective. It was proven by the improvement of students learning outcomes 70 points, the improvement of teacher’s ability to manage learning activities for each assessment= 3 points, the conformity between student activities and time allocation, and students’ positive responses during the implementation of GeoGebra-based MEAs Learning with minimum 75% for each aspect.
