Development of Guided Inquiry Learning Tool Model for Completing Learning Outcomes Highlights Environmental Pollution To Student of Junior High School

Abstract


This study aims to produce devices of guided inquiry learning science viable models to improve student learning outcomes in the matter of environmental pollution. Learning software development using the model of Dick and Carey and tested on 30 students of class VII Junior High School 7 Bontang learning year 2015-2016 with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques used in this study was the validation, observation, tests and questionnaires. The results of data analysis showed that: (1) the learning device consisting of Lesson plan, Books Students, Student Worksheet and Learning category valid test results; (2) the level of legibility and the Student Book Student Worksheet good category; (3) adherence to well categorized lesson plan; (4) the activity of students in student-centered learning; (5) the majority of positive student response in learning; (6) students can achieve completeness criteria learning outcomes aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning tools developed models are valid, practical, and effective use to improve student learning outcomes
