Abstract


Teaching that occurs in junior high school students is still centered on the activity of teachers and not berorentasi on students. This study aims to describe the process and the development of learning tools mathematics with cooperative learning type Jigsaw 2. Learning device development process using four D model implemented until the third stage is define, design, and develop. Development of learning tools in the form of Lesson Plans of Learning Activity Sheet and Test Results Learning. The results showed that the practical aspects were met with the results of teacher ability analysis to manage the learning in very good category and the result of data analysis of student activity in active category. Effectiveness aspects are also met with student responses and the percentage of learning completeness classical ,, so that it can be said student's learning completeness is achieved. In addition, the test results used to meet the criteria valid, reliable and sensitive. Cooperative learning Jigsaw 2 looks at some low academic ability students can be active in group discussions, 2 have the ability to explain the material to their group friends, and 3 when appointed by the teacher, then the sswa appear to present the problem in front of the class. The result of descriptive analysis of validation data and field test result data obtained by Jigsaw 2 type cooperative learning apparatus to train students' communication skill on material relation and function fulfill valid, practical and effective criteria. The results test meets the criteria of valid, reliable and sensitive
