This paper presents a proposed verifiable image secret sharing scheme using matrix projection. The problem with Shamir’s secret sharing scheme is they do not provide any way to verify that the dealer is honest and the shares are indeed valid, neither the Thien and Lin’s image secret sharing or the Li Bai’s construction using matrix projection. Therefore, the proposed scheme will contribute a way for participants to verify their reconstructed secret image.
