TO INCREASE STUDENT LEARNING RESULT IN HIDROKARBON MATERIAL

Abstract
This research proposes a teaching instrument with Teaching Concept model to improve learning result on hydrocarbon learning materials. The teaching instrument developed using Guided Discovery Learning model and it tested in class XI, SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya in the odd semester of academic year 2016/2017. The experiments conducted with one group pretest-posttest design. Instruments used are Instruments test result learning and literacy tests. The research results are: 1) Variables related to the validity of instructional devices are said to be feasible for use in learning activities; 2) Description of practicality includes, description of RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) implementation , description of student activity; and description constraints in learning; 3) The effectiveness of learning tools include the improvement of students' science literacy results that are seen from the high posttest score, the students' learning test results are also very good, the students response is very positive towards the teaching of the concept teaching model. This shows that the use of the conceptual teaching model significant to student learning outcomes.
