Abstract


ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was to know junior high school students’ quantitative reasoning in search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) based gender. This study was used qualitative descriptive approach to examine two participants which represented each type of gender, in this case the subjects taken by men and women from students of SMP Negeri 1 Laren. From the research results obtained in solving problems by using Search model, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS), there are differences of quantitative reasoning between male and female students. Of course with this research can provide new experiences and insights in teaching mathematics to students.
