Abstract
In the era of globalization, the development of science and technology is developing very rapidly and has a major influence on the world of education. The use of audio-visual media to overcome the limitations of sensory functions in learning is a fact that represents how technology becomes an integral part in the history of educational development and learning. his research is a Research & Development (R &D) by using Four-D model. This study aims to: 1) describe how to design the opening and closing VCD learning skills, 2) know the quality of the VCD that has been developed, 3) determine whether there is an increase in opening and closing the learning skills. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and test of N-Gain.
Based on the results obtained from the data as in table 1.1

Based on Table 1.2 showed that the VCD media opening and closing skills that have been developed are in the good category and unfit for use. Based on the Gain test it is found that there is an increase in the skills of opening and closing learning for students who have used VCD skills to open and close learning in micro teaching courses. The conclusion from this research that VCD skill to open and close the learning that has been developed is in good category, feasible to be used and can improve student's teaching skill.
