Analysis Dengue Fever and Malaria Cases using Multivariate Conditional Autoregressive Model
Last modified: 2018-07-07
Abstract
An important topic in epidemiology is dengue fever. This disease is a mosquito- borne infection found in tropical and sub-tropical regions around the world. Another disease infected by mosquito is malaria. The transmission of two diseases have a similar structure mapping where tropical regions of developing countries are the most high-risk areas in the world, such as Indonesia. In this paper, we will focus on analyzing those diseases by involving a spatial effect, i.e multivariate conditional autoregressive model. The result shows that the approaching model provides a better performance compare an exist model.
