On contextual problem solving is required a skill of mathematical literacy in which students are rarely used. Mathematical literacy is a skill to analyze, formulate, and understand what the meaning of each mathematical statements. Many of student makes decisions to solve contextual problem in which based on logical decision making, but sometimes students are encountered by silent knowing, confusing, and affraid about the consequence. Student must realize about limitation of logical decision making and deciding to use their intuition. This study explore about why is intuition important and how to use intuition in mathematical literacy. By knowing mathematical literacy and use of intuition, students can possibly have a better understanding and reduce errors in decision making for solving mathematics problem.
