The objective of this study is to analyse learning instrument with Predict-Observe-Explain based work laboratory to train basic science process skills on the topic of straight motion. Learning instrument is developed by using 4D model. This developmet method is used to generate learning instrument, then its validity and reliability are verified. Data of this study was obtained in the form of validation result from three experts. All of experts are lecturer in Science Post Gradute Program of Surabaya State University. The product of this study is the ruelt of analysis of validation. Validation results were analyzed by using CVR (Content Validity Ratio) and reliability analyzed by using SPSS 20 program through define of Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient value. The validation results indicate that developed learning instrument are valid and reliable to use.
