Abstract


This item analysis study aims to describe the quality of the item in final exam types HOTS who compiled for the  learning automotive electrical systems. The type of this research is document analysis.  Analysis of the data used in this study is about the content validity, reliability, level of difficulty, distinguishing power, and the effectiveness of detractors. The result showed that: (1) the validity of the contents of the questions are in the valid category with a percentage of 55%; (2) reliability is in the high category with a coefficient value of 0.79 or a percentage of 79%; (3) in the level of difficulty the questions are more dominant in the easy category with a percentage of 53%; (4) the differentiating power of the questions is more dominant in the good category with a percentage of 30%
