The data were analyzed using linear simple regression techniques. The results of the study showed that t-value -0.438 < t table (1.972), so it can be concluded that the variable self-regulation does not affect the variable fear of missing out significantly. On the other hand, student’s self-regulation had a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 is obtained so that it can be concluded that the variable self-regulation has a significant effect on variable Internet Addiction with negative regression. Further reasons and causes for these findings are elaborated in the discussion.
