Abstract

This study aims to 1) Produce an optical module based on a science process skill approach, 2) Know the quality of an optical module based on a science process skill approach according to material experts and media experts. This research is an R & D research with a procedural model that adapts the development procedure of the ADDIE model device consisting of five stages, namely: the analysis phase, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation and evaluation stages. The research instrument was in the form of a module quality rating scale using a Likert scale created in the form of a checklist. The subjects of module quality assessment are two material experts and two media experts. The module quality data obtained are in the form of quantitative data which are converted according to the scale of the product quality percentage. The results of this study include: 1) optical modules have been produced based on the approach of science process skills; and 2) The quality of optics modules based on the good science process skills approach (B) based on the assessment of two material experts with a percentage of 76.48% of the ideal score and good (B) based on the assessment of two media experts with a percentage of 77.71%.
