Abstract

The development of scientific creativity (SC) is very important in physics education. That is because students must have scientific creativity that must be improved to become excellent graduates, include physics teacher candidates. Many physics teacher candidates lack scientific creativity. This is the basis for developing innovative models based online that by design can improve scientific creativity of physics teacher candidates in the COVID-19 pandemic era. The focus of this research is to analyze the effectiveness MobLen model in improving the scientific creativity of physics teacher candidates as an alternative to online learning models in the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used a pre-experiment with one group pre-test and post-test with 60 physics teacher candidates. Data collected using the scientific creativity test, and then analyzed using the Paired Sample Test, Effect Size, N-gain, and Independent Sample Test. The results showed that the MobLen model proved effective in improving the scientific creativity of physics teacher candidates. The implication of this research is the MobLen learning model can improve scientific creativity of physics teacher candidates as an alternative to online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic.
