But usually alternative post-mining land uses are more focused on the benefit aspect only. This research is here to add a community resilience framework as material for local people's preference for their choice of post-mining land-use planning. The aim is to find out the community resilience around the mine area, their preference for alternative land-use planning, and to determine the effect of heterogeneity on their choices, as well as predicting the welfare value of the surrounding community based on the prepared scenarios. We use qualitative and quantitative approaches in this study. We used a qualitative method by interviewing to assess community resilience.
