Abstract


The learning process in the  Theory of Learning course , the team of lecturers planned and conducted lectures   together, but were only present  when giving the material being taught. This results in team,  lecturer not being able to learn from other team members.

The purpose of conducting Lesson Study was to improve the teaching quality of lecturers and  describe the lecture process.

Lesson Study results concluded that (1)The teaching quality of lecturers by applying cognitive learning theory was  increases, (2)  the lecture topic using cognitive learning models  was work well , and students gave positively responds, indicated by  improvements of student involvement, learning sets and application of strategies the learning.
