Abstract


Accelerated Learning is a learning activity that aims to make creative students use their knowledge to solve problems and make learning fun. Firing line is a strategy that aims to give students the opportunity to respond quickly. Mathematical disposition is a form of character that grows in students after participating in mathematics learning. The learning activities were selected in this study so that the students were active, creative, confident and able to work together. Lack of confidence in yourself is an inhibiting factor in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study is to find out the mathematical disposition and increase student activity. The method used in this study was pre-experimental. The sampling technique was carried out in class 8 MTsN 1 Kota Surabaya consisting of eight classes and taken one class with purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation sheets observation sheets and questionnaires. The results obtained in this study are that there is an influence on mathematical disposition as evidenced by the significant level = 0.05 with tcuont of 0.344 and ttable of -1.796, student activity increased by 89.58% to 93.49% after accelerated learning using strategies firing line. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: mathematical dispositions can be trained and student activities increase in both good and fairly good categories.
