Abstract

This article discusses the use of teaching materials for mixed learning with guided inquiry on magnetic material for junior high schools. Based on the development of technology and education, the teaching material developed is adapted to blended learning. This GI-BL (Guided Inquiry-Blended Learning) teaching material consists of magnetism textbooks, Student Worksheets (LKPD), lesson plans and question instruments. This GI-BL teaching material was developed and validated content as well as the instrument. Aiken-V validation yields 0.89 in the very valid category, and the percentage of agreement (PoA) is 90.5%. GI-BL teaching materials are developed to improve students' scientific literacy especially in phenomena related to magnetism. Measured scientific literacy gives an N-gain score of 80.5% which is categorized as increasing. Research also shows that this teaching material can be used for online learning during the COVID 19 pandemic.
