TPACK Ability of Chemistry Teacher in Framework of Pedagogical Content Knowledge for Science Teaching

Abstract


Technological and pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) is an extension of the concept of pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) through the integration of technology in learning.  PCK itself is a knowledge that must be mastered by the teacher. The aim of this study to describe the ability of teacher's TPACK within the framework of the five components of PCK for science teaching consisting of knowledge about goals, students, curriculum, instructional strategies and assessment This research is a descriptive research conducted on high school chemistry teachers in Sragen Regency. data were obtained using the Co-Re instruments, PaP-eRs, and interviews analyzed using the qualitative descriptive technique. The results showed teachers' TPACK ability to be improved on aspects of knowledge of students and instructional strategies.
