Abstract
In this talk, we study the impact of a non-lethal infectious disease with the simultaneous spread of awareness in the population. The dynamical behavior of the model is analyzed. It is assumed that the recruitment rate of the population is constant, and we divided the population based on their health status into susceptible unaware and aware of the disease, and infectious. Two types of awareness are included in the model: private awareness associated with direct contacts between unaware and aware populations, and public awareness campaign. The disease-free and endemic equilibria are shown in this model analytically and numerically. Some numerical simulations are also included for supporting the analytical result based on the autonomous system.
